1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup sliced onions
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup diced green peppers
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (6 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup chopped cooked ham
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper to taste
In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, onions and celery. Season with green bell pepper and pepper flakes.
In a large saucepan, combine the cream cheese, tomato sauce, eggs, ham and parsley. Season with cream cheese mixture with pepper flakes. Return mixture to a medium heat and stir until heated through.
Stir mozzarella cheese and ham mixture into the stew and heat through. Season with pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat, pour over meat mixture. Servalize on serving plates.
