8 ounces burritos
1/4 cup granular sugar
1 cup diced onion
2 ounces salsa
1 pound stale bread, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Roll burritos into 1 inch cubes. Place cubes on a sheet of waxed paper. Do not line the waxed paper with any of the flour or water. Place brown sugar into a large saucepan and quickly melt over high heat. Place onion into the pan and stir vigorously until translucent. Remove from heat and stir in salsa. Return to pan and stir rapidly until warmed through. Place bread cubes on top of burritos and garnish with cheese along with any leftover flour.
