1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup white sugar
1 pinch salt
1 (9 inch) unbaked bread loaf
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a large bowl. In a medium bowl, stir together the butter, flour, and salt. Stir in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then pour into the bowl, one at a time, until they are completely incorporated.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
The bread will be very brown, and the juices will run clear. Cool 5 minutes before slicing.
Just Got Back from Vietnam. Great Recipe and Prompt for Sharing. I chose this recipe over the YellowPerfumes recipe as it was thinner and had a little sweeter flavor. Either way, I did let them rise in the fridge while I made the Glaze. I let them rise overnight in the fridge uncovered as I was finishing the Rolls. I let them rise in the fridge until ready to use when I took them out of the fridge. Then I snip at the top of the roll and serve. It is well worth trying as new recipes often are. I found this recipe to be good.
