1 (1 pound) loaf French and Italian bread
1 egg
1 cup water
2 cups dried corn
1/2 cup oil for frying
1/2 cup water
Soak the bread in a large bowl overnight.
Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Drain cold bread, and combine water, corn, oil and water. Heat over medium, stirring occasionally, until skillet is filled with corn and hot. Remove fried bread paper in skillet.
