4 cups chopped celery
2 eggs
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup celery seed
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon dry mustard
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cups shredded cooked chicken breast meat
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 small onion, halved
1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped halved fresh spinach
1/4 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/3 cup chopped red chile peppers
1/4 cup chopped green chile peppers
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
In a medium bowl, toss together the celery, eggs, garlic, onion, celery seed, marjoram, basil, dry mustard, dry mustard, vegetable oil, chicken, celery and onion until thoroughly coated. Pour into a large bowl, toss with celery mixture and toss again with celery mixture with onion and celery mixture. Serve chilled, with drippings reserved.
