2 pounds cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
2 eggs
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 cup milk
1 cup frozen Spanish peas
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
Place cream cheese, softened, cream cheese and lemon juice in medium bowl. Mix well.
Beat eggs and lemon zest in medium bowl until fluffy. Mix together milk, peas and mozzarella cheese; pour mixture over cream cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Roll chilled cream cheese mixture into 1 inch in diameter round crepe-shaped rolls. Brush cream cheese mixture with egg mixture. Spread cream cheese mixture over cream cheese rolls.
Bake, uncovered, at 275 degrees F (135 degrees C) for 7-8 minutes in the preheated oven. Cut each roll into an 8 inch square.
