1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 (20 ounce) bottle fruit flavored Jell-O mix
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, cloves and fruit gelatin mix. Stir together and pour mixture into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until lightly browned. Allow to cool, then invert onto serving platter and add pineapple. Cool completely. Serve at room temperature.
