Chocolate Hazelnut Muffins Recipe

Ingredients

2/3 cup packed brown sugar

2 eggs

3 teaspoons lemon zest

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.

In a large bowl, beat brown sugar, eggs, lemon zest, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in the lemon extract. Spoon batter into prepared liners.

Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes. Remove muffins from pans and brush with lemon meringue.
