3/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup Italian-style sweet Italian
8 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, Italian-style sweet Italian, cream cheese and sour cream. Mix together, then spread onto the prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack. Whip egg and cheese until foamy. Sprinkle over the top of the sandwiches.
