Skewers Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

1/4 cup white sugar

4 tablespoons cornstarch

1 tablespoon unsalted olive oil

1 dash mustard powder

2 tablespoons herb marinade

paprika

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon lemon juice

4 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

In a small saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, olive oil, mustard powder, marinade, paprika, lemon zest and lemon juice. Bring mixture to a simmer, stirring often, over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer 50 minutes; stirring frequently. Remove from heat.

Stir mixture into a large bowl. Pour into a large bowl; make a well in center of mixture and add lemon juice. Spoon over meat in a slow cooker. Serve without browning.
