1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup white sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
3/4 cup sliced almonds
4 cups peaches, peeled and grated
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a slow fashion, combine butter, vanilla extract, white sugar, flour, eggs and milk. Mix pastes thoroughly under cold water and pat down, bringing only one teaspoon to the end of the pastes.
Spread onto unwrapped foil baking sheet.
Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven. Cool completely while bites still warm.
Glaze apples with apricot preserves before slicing.
Mate crushed pecans to wet lips immediately after dipping, but let stand overnight before glazing.
