2 cups butter or margarine
1 cup margarine
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups pumpkin seeds
1 egg
1 teaspoon melted butter or margarine
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl, cream together the margarine, sugar, and pumpkin until smooth. Beat in the egg, one at a time. Combine the flour, pumpkin seeds, and salt; stir into the pumpkin mixture. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly browned. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
