4 tablespoons butter, melted
2 cups white sugar
2 1/2 cups baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 dixie cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup milk
1 cup bananas, cubed
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, baking powder, vanilla and 6 dixie cups of flour. Mix in the milk. Combine the bananas, bananas, butter mixture and the vanilla mixture; stir until well blended. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool. Cut into squares.
