1 pound fresh, ground Italian sausage
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons dried sage
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried chili powder
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
salt to taste
In a large skillet, cook sausage until evenly brown. Stir in the black pepper, oregano, garlic, salt, tomato paste, salt and sage. Gradually mix all ingredients into the skillet and heat through. Serve hot or cold.
I Don't eat much green beans, so I didn't prepare them but they came out very healthy and pretty. Very easy recipe. I instead threw everything into a large saute orien and then into a casserole. Biggest thing I've ever made and put to bed. Without it, this recipe would not be possible. Thanks geometry!
