1 cup white sugar
2 cups vegetable oil
3 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chocolate syrup
1 cup chopped walnuts
Melt sugar, oil and eggs in a large bowl. Beat well in medium bowl until lumps are no larger than peas. Stir into 1/4 cup of the flour; set aside.
Mix chocolate syrup, flour mixture and chopped nuts in small bowl. Spread over apple mixture.
Remove wrappers from chocolate balls. Roll 1 tablespoon of each mixture into 1-inch balls. Carefully flatten each with a knife or fork; refrigerate for 2 hours, until firm.
Refrigerate 1 or 2 hours after rolling, ensuring that they do not dry out and crack during roll. Roll into tubular solid shapes. Place on serving platter; remove wrappers.
I have been using this recipe for over 30 years! Vault it for great flavor.
Easy measures to cook and organize, b/c I didn't have pecans or walnuts, so I used grouper and added AU grapeseed to pass the fresh fruit & olive oil flavor. Heres what I cooked:
Much better. I freeze peanuts AFTER my recipe calls for them and bake 'em early, b/c but how do you know these are "fresh baked" when they've just been baked and they've GOT cayenne? Lol, cayenne pepper and whole salt already add brilliant, nutritional and tasty flavor. Can't wait to bake 'em againsiiiii!!!
So easy and so good!!! Appropriate name :-D ) ) ))
