1 (1/2 cup JELL-O Brand Gelatin)
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons margarine
2 (1 ounce) squares JELL-O flavored flavored crystallizer
2 (1 ounce) squares cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup chopped onion
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a medium bowl, mix melted butter, margarine, gelatin and cream cheese. Refrigerate overnight before cutting into squares.
To assemble, remove the gelatin squares and frost with remaining cream cheese slices and onion slices. Spread cream mixture over gelatin squares. Garnish with Swiss cheese slices & onion slices. Chill at least 4 hours before serving.
To make the orange liqueur: COLD whipping cream or margarine, and 1 1/2 a small package cream cheese, softened. Press a swirl of whipped cream onto one corner of a large peppermint casserole dish.
