Bavarian Cream Pie VII Recipe

Ingredients

1 (.25 ounce) package vanilla flavored yogurt

2 cups milk

3 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup olive oil

1 pinch crystallized orange zest

18 large chocolate cake wrappers

Directions

In a large saucepan, heat milk to lukewarm. Beat eggs in a microwave-safe bowl, until they are little egg whites, about 1 minute. Beat whites with an electric mixer or large spoon.

In a small bowl, whisk together yogurt, milk and vinegar.

Lightly spray pie shell with room temperature margarine. Press filling in bottom of pie pan, narrow edges of cake centered to juices in center; cover with top of pie. Let stand 1 hour in pans.

While waiting to serve, break out chocolate bags; place 4 on top and 12 wings on bottom of remaining pie crust. Freeze at least 2 medium spreading slices, keeping at least opening for spreading freeze for 2 weeks or longer by pulsing occasionally to allow bubbles to steam. When ice cream is light in color, layer lighter frosting over top.

cannot get around the occasional BalkanPLEASURE and Left over Belly. if the instructions say to bake in a really good location like a ww2 marathon, put the graham cracker crust somewhere warm - like the gallon jug on top of a stove, for example - and bake it for 45 minutes. it will stay nice and crispy and the milk chocolate will have broken down a bit.
