Michigan Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients

8 large pork chops

1 tablespoon margarine

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon dried lavender

1/2 teaspoon dried sage

1 pinch salt

1 pinch ground black pepper

Directions

Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.

Place the chops on the grill in the prepared pan. Brush with margarine. Add vinegar, hot pepper sauce, basil and thyme. Salt, pepper and basil mixture to taste. Place chops on the grill for 4 hours in the prepared pan.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Remove chops from the grill to a platter. Sprinkle with sage, salt, pepper and basil mixture, cover and let stand overnight in a refrigerator.
