1 1/2 cups water
3 tablespoons margarine
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
2 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
1/4 cup chopped red onion
5 chicken breast halves
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 1/2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon lemon zest
In a medium saucepan over medium high heat, combine water, margarine, olive oil and tomato paste. Heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and whisk in flour. Stir in sugar, lemon zest and garlic powder. Serve hot.
