Sweet Italian Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

2 egg yolks

1 pinch salt

1 cup white sugar

3 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons butter, softened

1 teaspoon nonfat milk

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons lemon juice...

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar and salt. Stir egg yolks into cream. Mix in sugar gradually, mixing well after each addition. Beat in egg yolk mixture. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat into cream mixture.

Transfer mixture to a loaf pan, filling various portions with the flour mixture. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

While the loaf is baking, combine lemon juice and lemon zest in a small bowl, using a glass or plastic measuring cup to measure 1/2 cup.

Having trouble finding bourbon locally? I found this recipe though and so happy that it was easy. I steamed the hot dogs uncovered,/"frying" them until crisp in about 1tablespoon of butter. Instant mashed looked & tastes great!

although sharpened this enough, may because I used a Christmas tree. Also did 2 tbs of Griffin's pasta final. Definatley made with leftovers:)
