1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1 tablespoon milk
In a medium bowl, mix 1 cup sugar and oil. Stir in the flour, baking powder, 1/8 teaspoon vanilla. Mix until smooth. Stir in the chocolate syrup and milk. Mix to form a smooth dough. Roll the dough into a 3 inch square, shape into a cylinder and wrap in waxed paper. Wrap the creamed mixture in waxed paper. Chill the filling in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Lightly oil a 9x9 inch pan. Heat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour 8 large baking pans. Dust with confectioners' sugar and flour to coat. Line pan with foil. Place filled pans on foil, placing creamed filling in the center of each one. Roll the cream cheese mixture into a 1/2 inch thick. Place the brown sugar filling over the creamed filling. Place the eggs over the cream cheese frosting. Place chocolate syrup over the cream cheese filling.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 25 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean. Serve warm. Cool before cutting into squares. Frost with remaining whipped cream.
