Cut Butter Short II Recipe

Ingredients

1 (1 pound) loaf cream cheese, softened

2/3 cup white sugar

1 egg

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 1/2 cups instant vanilla pudding mix

1/2 cup milk

3/4 cup cold water

4 chocolate covered almonds - finely chopped

3/4 teaspoon dried white pepper

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with foil.

In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and egg. Beat for 1 minute at high speed of electric mixer. Gradually beat in salt and vanilla extract. Stir in milk until smooth. Spread pudding mixture evenly over cream cheese layer.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a mug comes out clean.

I changed the recipe to using just as much flour as called for but I feel that it left a lot of room for improvement. I might try it again cutting down the butter but other than that pretty much copied the recipe.
