I used this recipe as a base to get an idea of amounts and things to bake. I baked things like cookies and cakes and cookies and they turned out great. The only thing I did differently was add 1-2 tablespoons of confectioners sugar to the batter. Then, when the cookies were set, I took a scoop of the batter and dropped it in a bowl with a little drips of powdered sugar. My first batch of cookies had a very hard, gooey crust, while my second batch was more cake-like. The cookies were perfect color and I had a blast making them! Thanks for sharing this idea!

I have made these for a super bowl party, work... whatever else. I make them for my family, and they are always a huge hit. When I make them, I don't always add the dry italian dressing, and it usually makes them taste like a lil too sweet cookie, but I always do. I do it the old fashioned way, just put the dry italian dressing into the blender and blend on, it takes much longer, but it's almost always better. The cookies are dense, and really chew on the little cookies. I also add about 1 tbsp. of semi-sweet chocolate chips, because I find that the cookies themselves are kinda bland. I don't usually have chocolate chips, so I left them raw, and just used a chocolate chip cookie. They are definitely delicious, but I haven't given them enough time yet to really refine their flavors, and I don

I made this recipe for a holiday dessert and it turned out fantastic--perhaps the best example of desserts combining ingredients I've tried so far. The baking was a bit labor intensive, but well worth it. The candy was creamy and slightly sweet, and the texture was remarkably good. I didn't have a pecan stone cold roast so I used a small piece of dried apricots. I didn't have a whole lot of almond extract so I used about a quarter of what I should have and the candy was still chocolately sweet. The only changes I made was I added 1 tablespoon of pure vanilla and 1 tablespoon of lemon extract, and I omitted the almond extract. I'm sure there would be no end result other than what I got, and I certainly won't try this again.
