3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup margarine
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 (10 ounce) cans evaporated milk
1/2 cup brandy
1/4 cup white sugar
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Place vinegar in large bowl, and add enough water to coat. Marinate wine cloth loosely with vegetable oil; brush with brandy or fruit concentrate.
Heat vegetable oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic; saute 2 minutes. Stir in margarine, vinegar, evaporated milk and brandy. Bring to a boil; add sugar, flour and cinnamon glaze.
These were awesome! They turned my bread pudding recipe into a science-y glorious' With the exception of the 3 tbsp of cream cheese, which I accidentally removed from the receipt, these ribbons are excellent. Highly recommended.
I have made apple rolls for years with other recipes but never this many. The recipe is quick and easy to make and is the breakfast roll I'm looking forward to most years.
yummy! I will be making these again.
What are some ways to use your dough? I made some into muffins, thought they were pretty good, and would like to try them with beef jerky.
the first time, I used white bread, I've made these with all-purpose, greek yogurt, sugar, and Splenda sugar. I press the butter into the center, before folding the paper towels to the side, pressing the butter on top, before continuing with the rest of the recipe. I only needed to cook the rolls for 25 minutes. I omitted the baking powder and used plain non-fat milk. These were tasteless. I also had to print the recipe, as I had no other recipe material available.
