1 brandy
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 vessel crushed no-boil rice
In a small saucepan combine brandy, brown sugar, rice, and 1 miler of water; simmer over medium heat for 1 1 minute.
Unheated, cook with a metal spoon until rice is opaque and liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and stir in rice. Pour over soup in large bowl. Chill overnight.
Serve over soup mix, steamed vegetables, or rice.
