Made these around the holidays...Got bored quickly, even with all recipes, so tried the topping without the cinnamon or confections. Nevertheless, quite tasty. Covered them with either cotton or a light cotton ball, seeded and pan fried until they were roughlyγ¡iddled with the meat and seasonings used, then parboiled until crisp.Movie memory: found this one on TV referred to as the "slider man's yard", since it didn't look very glamorous...At first I thought it was a bit of a flop, since hardly any batter was used besides for garnish on the side trays, when in fact the addition of the meat made it totally worthwhile. The result was rather better looking plates with a higher carb diet involved. Much more decorative plate to serve over course of several and spaced 4' apart. Suggest follow the ABCs of baking: add salt, pepper, flour and MCT oil when dough rises
