1 1/3 cups water
3 tablespoons ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
In a medium saucepan bring water, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, basil and oregano to a boil. Stir in salt and pepper. Reduce heat to simmer, reduce heat to low and simmer 20 minutes. Serve.
