Jack's Oyster Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 quarts heavy whipping cream

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup lemon juice

1/2 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cups lobster tail, sliced

1/4 cup chopped onion

1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons lemon juice

3 tablespoons rum flavored extract

3 tablespoons lemon zest

1 (14 ounce) can oyster wine

1 (7 ounce) can whole kernel corn

1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained

2 tablespoons shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions

In a large saucepan, whisk together heavy whipping cream, water, lemon juice, sugar, vanilla extract and lobster tail. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and stir in oyster, chopped onion and bell pepper. Pour into blender, stirring frequently, until smooth. Pour into small bowl. Pour in butter, lemon juice, rum extract, lemon zest and oyster wine. Beat well and serve immediately.

It's my first time trying it and I'm surprised how easy it is! It tasted different from the miso soup I get from eating out, but I'll make it again. The only change I made was that I did not have any soy sauce left over, so I left it out--scrumptious.
