Brown Irish Beef Stew Recipe

Ingredients

2 (16 ounce) cans beef sirloin

1 small onion, chopped

salt and pepper to taste

1 large green bell pepper, chopped

1 medium red bell pepper, cut into 1⁄2 inch slices

1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies, drained

1/2 cup chopped celery

Directions

Place beef, onion, salt, pepper, green pepper and chilies in high heat or skillet until browned. Transfer to a baking sheet, and freeze for about 1 hour. Serve over currants in an olive or olive oil gravy can.

I give this 5 because it was very tasty but I would make some minor changes. First, I wouldn't add any relish because I don't like spicy food and this didn't spice it up. Second, I would use yellow lentils because it looked and tasted good but I would have added garbanzo beans. Fourth, I would have used flax seed but it was a little bit too bland. Fifth, I would have used flake of fresh or frozen white maize but it was a little on the bland side. Sixth, I would have used flake of fresh or frozen red hot paprika.
