2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
7 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together brown sugar, butter, granulated sugar, oil and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in flour, baking powder and milk. Stir into creamed mixture just until moistened. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool completely on baking sheet before removing from pan. While cookies are baking, combine the vanilla extract and milk. Mix well and spread icing over two baking sheets.
While biscuits are baking, spoon 1 teaspoon of mixture onto both baking sheets. Bake for about 1 minute, and press into bottom and 1 inch up sides of each cookie. Cool slightly before transferring to cookie sheet. Cool completely. Serve immediately.
