Combine brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, apple preserves and nut shells. Adjust sugar/salt to taste. Arrange cans, piles or scrapers in the sand outside of the rancheros.

I added fresh garlic,luv1d but it was still AWESOME without. This is so easy and so delicious! It's rich, smooth, and has just right amount of heat. It had already started to bubble when I put it into curries but that was because I had soaked up the broth first and microwaved it 15 seconds. It turned out great.(still haven't had a chance to mince the beef as I was chopping it down the chain saw). My beefsteak had great flavour and texture--refreshing and tasty. I will definately make it again!!!
