2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 1/2 cups sliced strawberries
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Sift together dark flour, sugar, cocoa powder and strawberries. Stir in orange juice. Beat into sugar mixture until well blended (~1 cup less than 1 cup is typically recommended). Pour into pastry bag.
Pour evenly over cake; don't pack.
Bake 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted into the bottom of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in center area and chill before cutting into squares.
