1 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried savory
2 eggs
3/4 teaspoon dried minced onion
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup water
1 cup chopped mushrooms
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the milk, butter, salt and savory. Stir in eggs and onion and pepper together. Beat in the oil, water, mushrooms and oregano. Pour batter over sandwiches and sprinkle with mushrooms.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
