Wheaten Beefsteak II Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon sea salt, divided

1 teaspoon paprika pepper

1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root

1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary

1/2 pound beef steaks

Directions

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine vinegar, oil, paprika, sea salt, paprika pepper, ginger and rosemary. Bring to a boil.

Stir all ingredients into beef steaks. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover saucepan and boil for 1 1/2 hours, stirring in steaks. Remove steaks from saucepan and cool.

This was fantastic! I had kidney beans for kidney paste so it was awesome. I didn't have any mint in the recipe but I did have blue cheese. Surprisingly, both recipes had pecans in them. So I was super excited to try them and was expecting a lot more than what I got. But nope, nothing sweet or tangy. Far from it, in fact. A 5-star review means I personally have a lot of confidence in the recipe. It was well worth the wait.
