2 (8 ounce) packages citrus flavored Jell-O mix
3/4 cup boiling water
1 (10 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
In a saucepan, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Place orange peel, oranges, cherries and lemonade in small mixing bowl, and stir until dissolved. Pour mixture into baked pie shell. Sprinkle top with whipped topping.
Let stand 2 hours in oven, then remove pot using a slotted spoon. Remove brown color from filling; refrigerate for about 1 hour. Frost with range frosting.
Good and easy, but watch out for the oil! Too hot can burn eyes and mouth, but too cold can fry quickly.
