Cajun Toast-Roll Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon dried salt

1 cup lean beef bouillon granules

1 cup sugar

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar

1 teaspoon hot water

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

To Make Crust: In a mixing bowl, mix salt, celery salt, ground black pepper, ground cumin, any spice, baking powder, baking soda, onion powder, garlic powder, crushed cloves, garlic salt, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly.

To Make Filling: Melt butter in a large bowl. Stir in bouillon and sugar. Mix together. Stir flour, baking powder, baking soda and onion powder into beef mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture begins to smell like bread crumbs. Mix in brown sugar, vinegar, hot water and cheese. Mix thoroughly.

Press filling into center of each loaf. Top with remaining bread.
