1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup milk
4 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda cream cheese
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk
3 (1 ounce) squares chocolate cookie
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch round pans.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter or margarine and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the milk and eggs; beat until the mixture is light and fluffy. Stir in the oil, flour, baking soda, baking powder, baking soda, baking powder, baking soda cream cheese, and sugar. Beat for about 4 minutes, or until the batter is smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before frosting.
To make the icing, cream together the cream cheese, white sugar, vanilla, and 2 tablespoons sugar using an electric mixer. Beat in the milk and egg mixture. Beat in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, baking soda, baking soda cream cheese mixture and chocolate cookie.
