Old Vinegar Filled Tea Pots Recipe

Ingredients

2 seafood fillets

3 teaspoons distilled white vinegar

1/4 cup hot lime juice

1 stalk dark green onions

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/8 teaspoon lemon zest

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1 1/2 teaspoons grapefruit juice

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix together 2 fillets of live (shell) Scallops, vinegar, lime juice and green onions. Sift together and squeeze lemon zest and lemon zest into light syrup. Stir in grapefruit juice. Transfer mixture into plastic containers filled with 2 cups boiling water, seal tightly and refrigerate.

Store over a double boiler or tray in the refrigerator, and place in a glass resealable plastic bag. Place in a warm place to steam.
