1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups butter, melted
1 3/4 cups white sugar
3 eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups chopped pecans
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Beat in the flour, baking soda and baking powder. Combine the baking soda and baking soda mixture with the pecans, almonds and walnuts; beat into the butter mixture. Pour batter into pastry shell.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with pecans and almonds.
