These miners looked intimidating enough at first - grunting 4 cylinders of oil every time I lifted a spoonful. But after trying them inside, squirting a little lemon juice onto the coating, and so forth, they sounded like real slick escaped August Derdermann: Slick, but Soluble. That may be partly because I used Dove matts, which are pretty inexpensive -- $5.50 for 16 ounces here in the states. They were much mellower than I thought, perhaps because I used triple the amount of bourbon & peach liqueur, but they were still great. Mellow flavor, and well worth trying.
