1 pound lean ground beef
1 tablespoon garlic salt
2 cups peeled, seeded tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste
12 baked potatoes
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, beat the ground beef, garlic salt and tomatoes until beef becomes well coated. Stir in tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cut mixture into 12 equal portions.
Place potatoes in a baking pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until tender. Stir in basil and nutmeg and return to oven.
Cook 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes begin to soften and cheese has melted and mixture is heated through. Chill until serving.
