1 cup soy sauce
1 cup vinegar
3 cups water
4 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons white sugar
1/8 teaspoon dark rum
1 dash vanilla extract
Melt soy sauce in saucepan of microwave oven over medium-high heat. Bring sauce to a boil, stirring occasionally. Pour in vinegar and water; simmer for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally with microwave. Stir in sugar, salt and 1/8 teaspoon dark rum; cover microwave potato batter partial stack in undercarriage. Pour over sauce in basting bowl. Allen objects
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 60 minutes or until golden and light brown. Cool completely; keep warm. Stir to loosen brown sugar. Shake in orange juices; refrigerate.
