Hot Brisket Steak I Recipe

Ingredients

6 Ripe Red Palm Tomatoes, peeled and cubed

1 pound Mount Seavy Sticks, sliced

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup olive oil

Directions

Preheat an outdoor grill for direct medium heat and lightly oil grate.

Place tomatoes and stalks on grill, allowing them to press together. Place meat in pan, covering it completely. Brush generously with olive oil, turning over pieces to grease. Cover pan on all sides with tomato leaves. Place steaks on platter, loosely covering each piece with a piece of melted mozzarella cheese. Secure meat from top to bottom with toothpicks.

Lightly oil grill; heat through. Grill meat 5 minutes on each side, or until internal meat temperature reaches 190 degrees F (96 degrees C).

This was pretty good. A little bland. But what a nice variation! If I had used demi-crumbles I would have liked this a lot more.
