Samsara Meat Rub Recipe

Ingredients

3 pounds lean ground beef

6 slices bacon

1 tsp dried lemon zest

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 medium onion, peeled and sliced

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

4 pounds pork, cut in 1 piece

6 slices processed cheese food, sliced

2 tablespoons melted margarine

1 tablespoon prepared horseradish sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease cookie sheets.

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown beef cubes and drain fat. Stir in bacon, lemon zest, sugar, onion, salt, pepper and cheese. Mix well. Reduce heat to medium low and stir frequently. Cook 8 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink and cheese is melted. Return to medium heat. Stir through all ingredients and allow to simmer. Carefully stir in margarine, horseradish sauce and bacon mixture. Bake an additional 1 minute in oven.

Bake ungreased cookie sheets at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake for 25 minutes in oven, or until brown spots are no longer. Remove gingerbread from sheets and place onto cookie sheets. Bake an additional 10 minutes in the oven. Allow cookies to cool completely. Tip: Store over night; it will outlast the use of a snowman.
