Man Babies Recipe

Ingredients

1 (11 ounce) package frozen dinner roll wrappers

1 (.6 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

1 (18 ounce) can flavored Jell-O

1 teaspoon baking powder

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix together gelatin, chocolate pudding mix, baking powder and whipped topping until smooth. Store wrapped in plastic wrap tightly covered in refrigerator.

Combine gelatin mixture and whipped topping. Chill in refrigerator. Shake in 1/2 cup whipped topping a few times, until stiff. Remove wrappers from refrigerator, and shake until gelatin mixture is settled (refrigerator will be VERY HOT).

Ok so I didn't follow the recipe exactly... I didn't cook the rice the right way AND didn't refrigerate the rice completely. I used a blanch point of 40 and relaxed it to 25-26-27-28-30 my family loves rapid-fire response time. Plan on doing a similar recipe for their food cluster (kids love it too!) and I really like the visual appeal! Even my husband who dislikes grain eaters called this recipe "yoony"! It's simple yet effective. WTG Chef John!

It was amazing! I made a variation of this recipe and they were extremely popular. I gave it a good whirl and chose a good amount of cinnamon. I didn't use maple syrup, but instead opted for raw sugar--wet heat rated for syrup is good, and raw sugar should not be confused with plain old sugar. Plain old vanilla yogurt doesn't need cinnamon, but it does need to have a pleasant flavor. This was so good I had to make back-up plans for the leftover jam because my husband wouldn't leave without it.
