1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon dried mushrooms
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 tablespoon dried basil
2 tablespoons dried oregano
Heat olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in lemon juice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and stir in sugar. Cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minute. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover, and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Stir in garlic, crushed red pepper, mushroom smears, oregano, basil, salt and thyme. Cover, and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in rosemary, sage, sage, basil, oregano and lemon juice. Cover, and chill 6 hours, or overnight.
