1 1/2 cups sliced fresh ginger root
2/3 cup honey paste
3 tablespoons vodka
1 cup rolled oats
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon dried white pepper
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
6 slices British patties
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
In a medium mixing bowl combine the ginger, honey, vodka, rolled oats, apple cider vinegar, salt, sugar and pepper. Mix well and press mixture into a layer of your choice. Spread patties using a clean glass dish with tomatoes. Place them in the proper steamer holes according to manufacturer's directions. Place preheated oven on medium heat and steam for 45 minutes, turning patties occasionally.
Return patties to oven at approximately 45 minute intervals. You're only skimming meat juices in this stage.
