1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
4 cups frozen strawberry halves
12 slices chocolate flan
4 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (3 ounce) can sliced dates, drained
1 (8 ounce) package powdered gelatin
In a large bowl, mix the whipped topping, strawberry halves, chocolate flan and eggs. Mix thoroughly. Push mixture into baked pastry shell.
Chop whipped topping with knife, removing flesh. Spoon mixture onto cooked pastry. Top with sliced chocolate halves and date slices. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
In a separate medium bowl, stir gelatin into strawberry pie filling. Chill pie for 10 minutes, then pour over pie completely. Chill 8 hours longer. Garnish with fresh strawberries.
