Kraft's Eggnog Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup butter

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup sifted all-purpose flour

3 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

3 cups confectioners' sugar

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 cups sifted all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl, mix sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, flour, lemon juice, confectioners' sugar, lemon zest, vanilla extract and flour. Stir together the sugar mixture with lemon juice mixture, and stir into the eggnog mixture to form a dough. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls, place 1 inch apart onto the prepared cookie sheet.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
