1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
Mix together the butter or margarine, sugar, milk, eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla extract and baking soda. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the margarine, eggs and sugar until smooth. Beat in the milk, vanilla extract and baking soda. Beat in the flour mix alternately with the white sugar. Drop by teaspoonfuls into the peanut butter mixture.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
